Regulator Visit to the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes Central Java I Successfully Organized by UNDIP Tax Accounting Study Program

Semarang, March 19 2026 – The Tax Accounting Study Program of Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) once again demonstrated its commitment to providing practical learning experiences for students through a Regulator Visit to the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) Central Java I.

This activity carried the theme “Learn the System, Move the Nation” and was organized by the Vocational Tax Corner (VTC) of UNDIP Tax Accounting as a platform to develop students’ competencies in the field of taxation, particularly in understanding systems and real practices within the tax authority environment.

The event was successfully conducted and received enthusiastic participation from students of the Tax Accounting Study Program. Through this activity, students gained direct insights into tax administration systems, the role of regulators, and the strategic contribution of taxation to national development.

In his remarks, Mr. Sigit Munandar, M.Ak, as the advisor of VTC, stated that this activity serves as an important bridge between theoretical knowledge learned in the classroom and its practical application in the professional world. He also emphasized the crucial role of the younger generation in supporting a transparent and accountable taxation system.

“Through this activity, students are expected not only to understand taxation concepts, but also to directly observe how the system is implemented by regulators, thereby fostering a strong spirit of contribution to the nation,” he stated.

This Regulator Visit also served as a momentum to strengthen the synergy between academia and government institutions, particularly in developing competent human resources in the field of taxation.

With the successful implementation of this event, it is hoped that students will be more motivated to actively contribute to the advancement of Indonesia’s taxation system, in line with the spirit of “Learn the System, Move the Nation.”
