EDUCATION AND EMPOWERMENT OF MSMES THROUGH WEB-BASED BOOKKEEPING WITH INTEGRATION OF FINANCIAL REPORTING AND TAX REGULATIONS APPLICABLE IN INDONESIA

The Tax Accounting Study Program launched a community service program entitled “Education and Empowerment of MSMEs through Web-Based Bookkeeping with Integration of Financial Reporting and Tax Regulations in Indonesia”. This program is designed to improve financial literacy and managerial skills of MSMEs, as well as help them comply with applicable tax regulations.

MSMEs are the backbone of the Indonesian economy, contributing more than 60% to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and absorbing almost 97% of the national workforce. However, many MSMEs still face challenges in managing bookkeeping and financial reporting. Through this program, MSMEs will be given intensive training on the use of a web-based bookkeeping platform that facilitates the process of recording and reporting finances. This program involves several stages, including intensive training sessions, guidance and consultation, and periodic monitoring and evaluation.
