Semarang, December 4, 2022 – A team of lecturers from the Tax Accounting Study Program and the Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology (TRKI) Study Program at the Vocational School of Diponegoro University has successfully completed a Community Service activity entitled “Assistance in Cost of Production Calculation for the Green Tea Bancha Project Based on Spray Drying Technology”. The program was conducted in collaboration with the green tea industry partner, the Tea and Cinchona Research Center (PPTK) Gambung, Bandung.
This initiative is a concrete contribution of the vocational higher education institution in supporting local commodity-based industries through an interdisciplinary approach that combines technical expertise in industrial chemistry and cost accounting.
Synergy of Technology and Accounting in High-Quality Green Tea Production
In this activity, the Tax Accounting and TRKI lecturers focused on optimizing the production process of decaffeinated Bancha green tea using spray drying technology, which helps preserve the bioactive polyphenol compounds.
