Semarang, November 21, 2025 — Another remarkable achievement has been earned by students from the Tax Accounting Study Program at Diponegoro University. Two outstanding students, Novita Tika Sari and Muhammad Jibran Al Fayed, successfully secured 1st place in the Essay Competition of the 2025 Telkom Accounting Fair, held from October 13 to November 20, 2025.
In this national-level competition, the team from the Tax Accounting Study Program of UNDIP presented the theme:
“Integrating Carbon Tax and Green Accounting through the Green U-Carbon Tax Integrated System for Sustainable Manufacturing Industry Growth.”
Their innovative concept introduces an integrated system that connects carbon tax mechanisms with the implementation of green accounting to support sustainability within Indonesia’s manufacturing sector.
Supervised by Mr. Sigit Munandar, M.Ak, their scientific work was recognized for its strong alignment with global issues surrounding energy transition and carbon emission reduction, while also offering relevant solutions to the development of green fiscal policies in Indonesia.
Head of the Tax Accounting Study Program, Mr. Apip, S.E., M.Si, expressed his appreciation and pride for this exceptional accomplishment.
“This achievement demonstrates the ability of our students to think critically, innovatively, and adaptively in response to the evolving landscape of taxation, which is increasingly focused on sustainability,” he stated.
This success is expected to inspire other students to continue enhancing their competencies and bringing pride to the Tax Accounting Study Program through various national and international competitions.
