Semarang, January 5, 2023 – The Vocational School of Diponegoro University (UNDIP) recently held a discussion session on the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia (UiTM) to strengthen international relations and improve the quality of education and international collaboration.
The meaningful event took place on January 5, 2023, with opening remarks from Mr. Pulung Widhi Hari Hananto, S.H., M.H., LL.M., representing UNDIP’s Vocational School, and Dr. Nik Zam Nik Wan, Head of Centre, Faculty of Accountancy, representing UiTM. After the speeches, the event continued with a portfolio presentation by Diponegoro University, led by a representative from UNDIP’s Vocational School. During this presentation, UNDIP showcased its various outstanding programs, including an industry-based curriculum, adequate research facilities, and the international achievements the university has attained. This demonstrated UNDIP’s commitment to developing vocational education that is relevant to global industry needs.
The presentation was then followed by UiTM representatives, who introduced the various programs offered by the university, as well as the efforts undertaken to improve the quality of education and research.
The event also included a discussion session that covered programs such as the Summer Course, Student Exchange Experience Program, joint research, international community service, and International Conferences.
Through this MoA discussion, both parties committed to forging stronger cooperation to improve the quality of education and research. Additionally, this collaboration is expected to expand the network of international collaboration, which will have a positive impact on the development of knowledge and technology.
The cooperation between UNDIP and UiTM is expected to bring positive outcomes in creating a more collaborative, innovative, and globally competitive academic environment. In this way, both universities will work together to achieve the shared goal of improving sustainable education and research quality.
