Semarang – Students from the Tax Accounting Study Program of the Vocational School, Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), have achieved an outstanding international accomplishment by winning the Gold Medal at the ASEAN Innovative Science Environmental and Entrepreneur Fair 2026. The competition was organized by the Indonesian Young Scientist Association and held at UNDIP in Semarang from 10–12 February 2026.
The team earned the highest award through their innovative project entitled “WISE (Well Investment and Smart Education) as a Media for Increasing the Awareness and Literacy about Investment for Gen Z as an Economic Driver in the Future.” This project is an investment literacy platform designed to enhance financial awareness, knowledge, and practical investment skills among Generation Z.
WISE integrates digital learning approaches, investment simulations, and interactive educational content that is easily accessible to students. The innovation was recognized for addressing the low level of investment literacy among young people while empowering Gen Z to become proactive contributors to future economic growth.
