Strengthening Integrity and AI Implementation: Lecturers and Educational Staff of the Tax Accounting Program Participate in the 2026 Capacity Building of UNDIP Vocational School

Semarang, February 4, 2026 – Lecturers and educational staff of the Tax Accounting Study Program, Vocational School of Diponegoro University (UNDIP), participated in the 2026 Capacity Building activity organized by the Vocational School of Diponegoro University on February 2–3, 2026. The activity was held in the Dieng area as part of efforts to enhance the quality of human resources within the UNDIP Vocational School.

This year’s capacity building program carried the theme “Enhancing Performance Efficiency Based on Integrity through the Application of Artificial Intelligence.” The theme was selected in response to technological advancements and the challenges of the modern workforce, which demand improved performance that is effective and efficient while continuing to uphold integrity in both academic and administrative duties.

The event was officially opened by Prof. Dr. Ir. Budiyono, M.Si., Dean of the Vocational School of Diponegoro University. In his opening remarks, he emphasized the importance of strengthening integrity and utilizing technology—particularly artificial intelligence—as a supporting tool to improve the performance of lecturers and educational staff within the UNDIP Vocational School.

Throughout the program, participants took part in a series of activities designed to strengthen teamwork, enhance individual capacity, and broaden insights into the use of digital technology to support roles and responsibilities in vocational education.

Through this capacity building activity, it is expected that lecturers and educational staff of the Tax Accounting Study Program will become more adaptive to technological developments, improve performance efficiency, and contribute optimally to achieving the vision and mission of the Vocational School of Diponegoro University.
