Semarang, October 30, 2025 — Another proud achievement has been made by the students of the D4 Tax Accounting Study Program, Vocational School, Universitas Diponegoro.

A team of 15 students successfully won 3rd Place at the National level in the Indonesian Tax Dispute Moot Court Competition (IMTAX) 2025, Appeal category, organized by the State College of Accountancy (PKN STAN).

In addition, one of the team members, Manuel Sion Teddy Pandetua Gultom, also earned a prestigious individual award as Best Appellant in the same event.

IMTAX is a national-scale tax dispute moot court competition aimed at sharpening students’ understanding and experience in simulating judicial procedures at the Tax Court. This year’s competition was held to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of PKN STAN and the 79th Anniversary of Indonesia’s Ministry of Finance (HORI), in collaboration with the Secretariat of the Tax Court, the Tax Training Center (Pusdiklat Pajak), the Directorate General of Taxes, and the Tax Oversight Committee.

The UNDIP D4 Tax Accounting Team competed in the Appeal category, going through two stages — the preliminary round (submission of dispute documents) and the final round (moot court trial simulation) held at the PKN STAN Campus, South Tangerang, on October 30, 2025. In the final round, they played complete roles in tax litigation such as Judges, Appellants, Respondents, Witnesses, and Experts.
