Semarang, October 23, 2025 — Another proud achievement has been attained by students of the Applied Bachelor of Tax Accounting Study Program, Vocational School, Diponegoro University. The team consisting of Anita Suciati, Nadia Atha Taryana, and Sabilaa Najin Fitri Azzahra successfully won the Favorite Champion title in the Mercu Buana Equity Research Competition 2025, held at Mercu Buana University Yogyakarta.
This prestigious competition brought together students from various universities across Indonesia to sharpen their skills in financial statement analysis, stock valuation, and equity research-based investment recommendations. In this event, the Tax Accounting team from Diponegoro University carried the theme “Earning Through Thinking: Merit-Based Investment,” emphasizing the importance of research and rational analysis in making investment decisions in the capital market.
Through a merit-based and critical thinking approach, the team presented in-depth research, innovative analysis, and engaging presentation, captivating both the judges and fellow participants. It is no surprise that their work earned them the Favorite Champion title, surpassing teams from several leading universities in Indonesia.
This accomplishment stands as solid proof of the competence and enthusiasm of Tax Accounting students in meeting professional challenges, while also serving as an inspiration for other students to continue striving for excellence and innovation at both national and international levels.
