Benchmarking Visit from Universitas Warmadewa to the Tax Accounting Study Program

Semarang, July 1, 2025 — The Tax Accounting Study Program of the Vocational School, Diponegoro University (UNDIP), welcomed a benchmarking visit from Universitas Warmadewa, Denpasar, Bali, on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. This visit was part of Universitas Warmadewa’s efforts to strengthen the development of vocational study programs, particularly in the field of tax accounting, through academic benchmarking activities.

The visiting delegation from Universitas Warmadewa consisted of lecturers, study program managers, and academic staff. They were warmly received by the Head of the Tax Accounting Study Program along with lecturers and administrative staff at the Innovative Business Center (IBC), Vocational School of UNDIP.

The main objective of this benchmarking activity was to gain insights into academic management and governance strategies implemented at UNDIP, including teaching methods, industry internship systems, integration of information technology in the learning process, and efforts to develop graduate competencies aligned with workforce demands.

During the discussion session, both parties exchanged experiences regarding the challenges and solutions in implementing vocational education. The Tax Accounting Study Program at UNDIP also presented various innovations and successful initiatives, such as strengthening partnerships with industry, project-based training, and strategies for improving the quality of lecturers and academic services.

In addition to the discussion, the visitors had the opportunity to tour several learning support facilities, including computer laboratories, student discussion rooms, and lecturers’ offices. The visit concluded with a group photo session, symbolizing a shared commitment to fostering constructive collaboration between higher education institutions.

Through this visit, it is hoped that both universities will remain consistent in their efforts to develop high-quality, adaptive, and industry-responsive vocational education.
