Semarang, June 2025 — The Vocational School of Diponegoro University (UNDIP) has successfully carried out a community service program titled “Training in Accounting, Taxation, and Digital Business for SMEs in Ngrapah Village, Banyubiru District, Semarang Regency.” Conducted over a six-month period, the program aimed to enhance the capacity of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in three critical areas: financial management, tax compliance, and digital marketing. Led by Alvionia Filda Sari Mareta, S.E., M.Ak., and supported by lecturers and students from the Tax Accounting Studi Program Department of Business and Finance, the program engaged 20 MSME participants from Ngrapah Village. The training was structured in three stages: participant identification, in-person training, and one-on-one mentoring. Participants received user-friendly training modules and practical guidance on financial recordkeeping, understanding tax obligations, and utilizing digital platforms such as social media and online marketplaces. The training also included demonstrations on using tools like DJP Online and e-Billing for tax reporting. Evaluation results showed significant improvements in participants’ abilities to record financial transactions, report taxes, and promote their products digitally. Most participants successfully created basic financial reports and established online business accounts, reflecting increased business awareness and capability.
“This program not only builds technical capacity among local SMEs but also contributes to sustainable economic empowerment in the village,” stated Alvionia Filda Sari Mareta. The initiative is part of UNDIP’s commitment to the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in reducing poverty and strengthening local economies.
UNDIP hopes that similar programs can be replicated in other regions with similar potentials and challenges.
