Semarang, May 30, 2025 — In welcoming new students, the Accounting Taxation Study Program at the Vocational School of Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) has established itself as one of the most highly sought-after programs. According to the data collected, the number of applicants for this study program has shown a significant increase over the past three years, reflecting the growing public interest in education in the field of taxation.

In 2022, the number of applicants for the Accounting Taxation Study Program reached 1,685, with 283 students being admitted. The following year, in 2023, there was a substantial surge, with 3,351 applicants and 410 students admitted. However, the most striking increase occurred in 2024, when the number of applicants soared to 6,901. Although the number of students admitted slightly decreased to 390, the increase in applicants still indicates an extraordinary level of interest from prospective students.
