Semarang, May 6, 2025 – As part of its ongoing commitment to global academic collaboration, Tax Accounting Study Program successfully held an International Visiting Professor Seminar with the theme “Strategic Management: From an Islamic Perspective.” This event was organized as a tangible effort to broaden students’ insights into strategic management grounded in Islamic values.
The highly engaging seminar was conducted online via the Zoom platform and featured the keynote speaker Prof. Khaliq Ahmad, Ph.D., a renowned expert in Islamic business and strategic studies from the International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization (ISTAC) – IIUM, Malaysia. The session was moderated by Naila Hanum, SE., M.Acc., a lecturer from the Tax Accounting Study Program.
Prof. Khaliq, who has an extensive academic and research background, has published numerous scholarly works on the integration of Islamic ethics into corporate governance and strategic planning. Through his cross-institutional experiences and global perspectives, he offered invaluable insights to all seminar participants.
This event is expected to enrich students’ understanding of business strategies and management ethics from an Islamic perspective, while also equipping them with relevant global viewpoints to face today’s professional challenges.
