Semarang, February 20, 2025 – Students of the Applied Tax Accounting Study Program, Vocational School, Diponegoro University (SV UNDIP) conducted an academic visit to Bank Indonesia. This activity aims to deepen students’ understanding of the role and function of the central bank in Indonesia’s economic system, particularly in monetary policy, payment systems, and financial system stability.

During the visit, students received direct presentations from Bank Indonesia officials regarding various strategic policies undertaken to maintain national economic stability. In addition, students also had the opportunity to visit the operational room and engage in interactive discussions on interest rate policies, inflation, and the digitalization of payment systems that are increasingly evolving in the digital economy era.

This activity is part of an academic program designed to bridge theory with practice in the professional world. With this visit, it is expected that SV UNDIP Applied Tax Accounting students will gain a deeper understanding of central banking and enhance their insight into facing challenges in the financial and taxation sectors in the future.
