Semarang, March 15, 2024 — The Tax Accounting Study Program of the Vocational School at Diponegoro University successfully carried out a community service activity in the form of a training session titled “Annual Income Tax Return Completion Training for PT ARA Shoes Indonesia Expatriate.” This program was held on March 10, 2024, at the premises of PT ARA Shoes Indonesia in Ungaran Central Java. This initiative aimed to support expatriate employees in fulfilling their annual individual income tax obligations in accordance with Indonesian tax regulations. The training was led by lecturers from the Tax Accounting Study Program, assisted by selected students with strong competencies in taxation. The session covered important topics including the legal framework of personal income tax in Indonesia, residency status and its tax implications, required documents for filing, and practical guidance on using the DJP Online platform for submitting the Annual Income Tax Return (SPT Tahunan). The training was designed to be interactive, combining theoretical explanation with step-by-step assistance. Participants (expatriate staff members of PT ARA Shoes Indonesia) expressed appreciation for the clarity and relevance of the material delivered. This activity reflects the dedication of Diponegoro University, particularly the Vocational School’s Tax Accounting Study Program, to contribute actively to community and industry development through the dissemination of knowledge and expertise.
