Semarang, October 11, 2025 – The Accounting and Taxation Study Program, Vocational School of Diponegoro University, successfully held an online event titled “Talk Space: Success Story of Alumni” via Zoom Meeting on Saturday, October 11, 2025. The event was attended by 491 students from various cohorts, along with lecturers and alumni. It aimed to strengthen the alumni network and provide insights into preparing for the professional world.
The event began at 07:30 AM with participant registration and preparations. It was officially opened by the MC, followed by a prayer and the singing of Indonesia Raya, Mars Undip, and Mars Vokasi.
Welcoming Remarks
The event continued with opening remarks from several representatives, starting with the Head of the Organizing Committee, David Gaffary Haqi, followed by the Head of the Student Association of the Accounting and Taxation Study Program (HMPS Akuntansi Perpajakan), Raja Rasyid Al Hakiim Harahap. The next remarks were delivered by the Person in Charge of the WCU program, Ms. Diva Ayu Imanda Sari, S.E., M.Ak., Ak., CA., Asean CPA, and the Head of the Study Program, Mr. Apip, S.E., M.Si., who expressed appreciation for the successful execution of the event.
Alumni Sharing and Material Sessions
Speaker 1: Lisa Zakia Tsuroya
The session continued with a presentation by Lisa Zakia Tsuroya, a Finance Executive with more than five years of experience in accounting, finance, and taxation. Lisa discussed the stages of job interviews and strategies for thriving in the workplace. She shared her experiences managing financial and tax functions in several well-known companies, including PT Tobe Aviasi Indonesia and KJPP Rengganis, Hamid & Rekan.
Speaker 2: Shintauli Widya C. Tinambunan
The second speaker, Shintauli Widya C. Tinambunan, currently serving as the Operations Director of PT Angkasa Pura Suport, shared her career journey from an Assurance Assistant Manager to a leadership role in operations. Her presentation focused on career success tips and how to navigate challenges in the professional world, particularly in the aviation and support services industry.
Question and Answer Session
The participants showed great enthusiasm during the Q&A session, which was moderated excellently. Three selected participants had the opportunity to ask questions, which were answered thoroughly by both speakers. This session allowed students to gain firsthand insights from seasoned professionals in the accounting and finance industries.
Games and Closing Session
In between sessions, a Kahoot-based game added fun and engagement to the event. Winners of the game received attractive prizes. The event concluded with the presentation of certificates to the speakers and a documentation session led by the MC.
The “Talk Space: Success Story of Alumni” event successfully inspired students to better prepare themselves for their future careers while strengthening the connection between current students and alumni of the study program.
