Semarang, August 14, 2025 – The Accounting Taxation Study Program once again achieved an outstanding academic milestone through one of its students, Ari Putra Mulya, who successfully won Third Place in the Essay Writing Competition themed “Writing for a Literate Generation”, organized by the Central Java Provincial Archives and Library Service.

In this prestigious competition, which was participated in by 350 contestants from various regions, Ari presented an essay entitled “Public-Private Partnership Model: A Strategy to Strengthen the Digital Literacy Ecosystem in Facing Cybercrime of Online Fraud in Indonesia.” The essay put forward an innovative idea emphasizing collaboration between the government and the private sector to strengthen digital literacy among society, aiming to reduce the growing cases of online fraud.

The competition was highly competitive. Out of hundreds of participants, only 15 finalists were selected to take part in a technical guidance workshop and revise their work under the mentorship of experts. After going through the presentation and final evaluation stages, the committee announced the top three winners, with Ari Putra Mulya securing a place in the Top 3.

This achievement is a testament that students of the Accounting Taxation Study Program are not only excelling in formal academics but also showing concern and real contributions to social issues, literacy, and the advancement of digital technology.

The Head of the Accounting Taxation Study Program also expressed appreciation for Ari’s accomplishment and pride in his success. “His achievement proves that our students are capable of competing at the provincial level with ideas that are both solution-oriented and relevant to today’s challenges,” he stated.

With this award, it is expected that more students will be motivated to further hone their writing skills, think critically, and contribute through impactful works that benefit the wider community.
