Public Lecture Titled “Thriving in the Digital Era: Unlocking Career Opportunities in the Tax Industry”

Semarang, May 24, 2025 – The Tax Accounting Study Program of Diponegoro University successfully held a public lecture titled “Thriving in the Digital Era: Unlocking Career Opportunities in the Tax Industry” on Saturday, May 24, 2025, starting at 08:30 AM WIB at the 5th Floor of the ICT Building, Diponegoro University, Tembalang.

The event featured keynote speaker M. Slamet Umbaran, SE., SH., M.Ak., Ak., CA., ACPA., BKP-C, who serves as the Regional Chairman of the Indonesian Tax Consultants Association (IKPI) for Central Java. He shared valuable insights on career opportunities in the tax industry in the digital era, including the challenges and competencies that young professionals must possess to compete in this field. The engaging discussion was moderated by Made Laksmi Sena Hartini, SE., Ak., M.Ak., BKP, a lecturer from the Tax Accounting Study Program at Diponegoro University. The enthusiasm of the participants was evident from the attendance of hundreds of students from various faculties and departments.
