Semarang, February 27, 2025 – The Taxation Accounting Program Study, Vocational School of Universitas Diponegoro, successfully held a Taxation Seminar activity which took place at the Ara Academy, PT Ara Shoes Indonesia, Semarang. This activity is part of a series of Community Service programs aimed at improving tax literacy in the business world, especially in facing the Annual Tax Return reporting period.

The seminar, which took place from 13.00 to 17.00 WIB, was attended enthusiastically by 30 participants who were employees from various divisions of PT Ara Shoes Indonesia. They came from various job backgrounds such as secretaries, supervisors, planning staff, accounting and tax, maintenance, to security officers. The diversity of the participants shows the great interest and need for a comprehensive understanding of taxation in all lines of the company.

This activity was facilitated directly by lecturers from the Taxation Accounting Program Study, consisting of Mrs. Rissa Anandita, S.E., M.Ak., Ak., CA, as the chief executive, along with two other lecturers, Mrs. Alfita Rakhmayani, S.E., M.Ak. and Mrs. Made Laksmi Sena Hartini, S.E., Ak., M.Ak.. In addition, the activity also involved students as a form of implementation of experiential learning. The material presented includes a general understanding of taxation, personal tax obligations, and practical steps in filling out and reporting Annual Tax Returns through the DJP Online system.

Participants were given the opportunity to discuss directly the obstacles they have faced so far, both related to income tax deductions, collection of withholding evidence, and reporting which is often considered complicated.

This activity not only enriches participants’ understanding of tax rights and obligations but also strengthens the synergy between vocational education institutions and the industry.
