Semarang, December 4, 2025 — The Tax Accounting Study Program of the Vocational School, Universitas Diponegoro, successfully held the IAI Central Java Goes to Campus event entitled “Challenges and Opportunities for Accountants in the Digital Era” on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at the 5th Floor of the ICT Building, Universitas Diponegoro, Tembalang.
The event featured professional speakers from the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI) Central Java Region, namely Mrs. Maya Aresteria, S.E., S.H., M.Si., AKT., CA., ACPA as Vice Chairperson for Public Accounting Firms – KJA, IAI Central Java. Mrs. Riana Sitawati, S.E., S.H., MSCIBM., Ph.D., Akt., CA., CPA., CMA., CSRS., CRSA., ASEAN CPA., Cert. DA., GCAA as Chairperson for Public Accounting Firms – KJA, IAI Central Java.
The event was conducted interactively and received high enthusiasm from Tax Accounting students, who actively participated in the presentation sessions and discussions on the transformation of the accounting profession in the digital era, the need for digital competencies, and future career opportunities in accounting.
The session was moderated by Mrs. Lilik Rohmawati, S.E., M.Sc. to be completed with full name and academic titles), who skillfully guided the discussion and question-and-answer session.
The Head of the Tax Accounting Study Program, Mr. Apip, S.E., M.Si. expressed appreciation for the implementation of this event as a form of synergy between higher education institutions and professional organizations to strengthen students’ competencies in facing an increasingly dynamic job market.
Through the IAI Central Java Goes to Campus program, it is expected that students will be better prepared to become competent, adaptive, and ethical accountants in the digital era. The Tax Accounting Study Program is committed to organizing more academic and professional activities to support the development of students’ academic quality and professional knowledge.
